Welcome. I’m Steve Woolley, owner of Derbyshire Holistic Treatments. Please read on to see how I can help you improve and maintain better health with these increasingly popular therapies.

Through practicing Yoga for a number of years, I became interested in the importance of life force energy (you may have heard it referred to Prana, Chi, Qi or Ki), and the movement of this energy throughout the body.

I began to study Reflexology in London with the Bayly School Of Reflexology, the official teaching body of the British Reflexology Association, where I was taught and examined by Nicola Hall, the director of the Bayly School and chairman of the British Reflexology Association. Nicola is also a recognised author on the subject, having written a number of books about Reflexology.

I qualified as a clinical practitioner in 1999, and have been practicing professionally in the Derby area since then, and I now have over 19 years experience in helping clients with a wide range of health problems and disorders. Many clients chose to return for regular top up or maintenance appointments and have been doing so for many years.

In 2004, I had my first experience of Reiki, and chose to study this powerful healing technique with the local Reiki-Star Training Centre which was established in 1999. I attained a Level I Degree in 2006, Level II Degree in 2007 and Level III Master Practitioner in 2009.

In 2009 my application to the NHS directory, was successfully accepted based on the level of training and experience.

In 2014 I qualified in Traditional Thai Foot Massage. My training was at the original Thai medical and massage school Wat Po Temple in Bangkok.

I have practiced these therapies in local salons and spa centres, but I mainly work from my home therapy room in the Derbyshire village of Horsley, just 6 miles from Derby.
